AFAB Electronics Inc., a Texas corporation, was founded in 1984, and incorporated in the fall of 1991. Through our own research and development department, and our various subsidiary divisions, we provide consultation, initial development and final deployment of unique small-factor electronics for the photographic, computer and medical imaging industries.
Current developments include the production and delivery of ophthalmological digital imaging conversion kits through our Orphan Ophthalmics division, as well as high resolution digital/optical microscopy conversions for inspection and fabrication facilities, designed by AFAB engineering.
AFAB Electronics offers consultation to the optical laboratory industry, and has been instrumental in providing upgrade technology for consumer optical coating equipment.
We are currently developing several unique computer applications for mobile medical imaging, and look forward to releasing these low-cost solutions for the new Apple iPad™ following its formal introduction.
